2021 January On-Line ZOOM Classes
This summer saw a new offering from the studio in the form of on-line classes via ZOOM. Both Katy and Brad are offering on-line instruction in watercolour and oil painting as well as in drawing and color & design.
Check our respective web sites for dates and times of our Winter classes. Please consider giving an art class for this holiday. It makes for a wonderful gift that keeps giving!

RECENT STUDIO HAPPENINGS:

We love sharing good news and lots of good stuff has been happening in the past few months!

Brad and Katy were both accepted into the 91st Annual Phillips Mill (Pennsylvania) Juried Art Show, which was held in September and October. Brad's watercolour ROLLING ROCK (Watercolour, 15-1/2 x 29-1/4 inches, shown at the top of this newsletter) received the Kathy Schroeher and Jim Clare Memorial Award.

Katy was very pleased to have her work GHOST PUMPKIN AND TAPESTRY chosen for the cover of ICON magazine's October issue. Thank you to the team at ICON for promoting original art!

Brad’s watercolour WHITE BELL was juried into, and received the top watercolour award, The Mary Bryan Memorial Award for Watercolor at the 87th Annual Exhibition of the Hudson River Art Association at the Lyme Art Association in Old in Old Lyme, Connecticut, which was held from June through August of 2020.

Brad’s watercolour WINTER AT THE CHAD HOUSE, and Katy's oil painting TIME CAPSULE have been accepted into Cero Gallery's (Florida) "The Great American Paint In", which is currently running on-line.

There was an article about Brad entitled “Preserving History Through Painting” in the September issue of Chadds Ford (Pennsylvania) Neighbors magazine.

An article about Katy entitled "Bringing a Deeper Meaning to Still Life Art" appeared in the August issue of Realism Today. Five of her still life oil paintings were featured in the article.

As part of the June 24th, 2020, edition in preparation for Independence Day, three of Brad’s red, white, and blue-themed paintings were featured on outdoorpainter.com, the home of Plein Air Magazine.

THANK YOU!

Thank you to the new and repeat collectors who have visited the studio in recent months, both in person and on-line, and found a painting to adopt!

We deeply appreciate the support and can't say how happy we are to know that our works reside in such good homes! Thank you!

Best Wishes, and Happy Holidays!
